brady's mom got cailin this awesome snow suit.
she loves it and it will definitely come in handy
while we are out in utah next week.

isn't going very well. i don't know if
this chick will ever open her mouth again
for this stuff, but i will keep trying.
sigh.

its a merry christmas time

not that she even understands what's going on,
but it was fun to watch her take it all in.

round two christmas day was at my house.
my mom and matty and jess came over
for dinner and gift opening. we
also got to talk to preston, my brother who
is on a mission in wisconsin.

cailin was more interested in the paper most of the day.

festivites. she zonked out during her night time bottle.

i regret the fact that i didnt get any pictures of my mom
or jess christmas night. i know they aren't documented,
but i promise they were there and we all had a fun time!!!

Ok, just thought I'd share my thoughts on the raddest dude I know. It's Matty.

santa

as you can see cailin loved santa.
she loves everybody so i wasn't surprised.
she always smiles at the scary old ladies
that talk to her at church or the grocery store
so i didn't think santa would be any different.

6 months

cailin was 6 months yesterday. she's such a fun
girl. some of her new tricks in the past month are:

she sits up all by herself

she rolls from back to tummy and vice versa

she grabs her feet while
changing her diaper and clothes

snow baby

we got our first substantial snow of the season
today. it seems early for us here in richmond, but
hey thats ok. it gets you in the christmas spirit right?
plus i couldn't help but snap a few shots of cailin
and her first snow fall. love those blue eyes!!!

happy birthday brade

to honor brade's 29th birthday today i want

to mention 29 things about him.


1. he loves to learn and if it were possible to make
a good living at being a student he would.
2. he's a computer wiz and always comes to my
rescue when i have a techy problem.
3. he's a master googler.
4. he forgets things A LOT, but tries hard to
remember to do the things he says he will.
5. he can grow a serious beard.

6. his favorite movies are the maxtix and inception. he'll
watch them a million times over.
7. he would eat a root beer float every night if
he could remember to do so.
8. he's a great daddy and cailin is a very lucky
lady to have him take care of her 3 days a week.

9. he loves to take long scalding hot showers.
10. he makes me laugh everyday.
11. he's always posting on some kind of forum.
12. he loves the cold weather.
13. he humors me and pretends that he likes harry potter.

14. he loves to do most outdoor activities.
15. ever since he got his iphone its been
much easier getting a hold of him.
16. he's an awesome rock climber and has been
doing it since he was 13.

17. he'll do almost anything to make me happy.
18. he'd be very happy to never have a pet.
19. he wishes for a big snow every year so he can sled.

20. he hates glitches.
21. nose injuries make him cringe.
22. he's my best friend.

23. he's lost 4 pairs of glasses, but has
managed to keep his current ones for over 3 years.
24. he can eat the crap out of some pasta.
25. we met when he was a wee boy of 17,
but looked like he was 13.

26.he has NO and i mean NO interest in football,
but used to humor me by wearing a redskins jersey on sundays.

27. he's been visited by the old hag several times in our marriage.
28. he loves dinosaurs and has since he was a kid.

29. he's the best husband in the world.
he's very understanding and
caring. he makes me happy everyday.
i don't know what i'd do without him.
he is great with cailin and we are 2 very lucky ladies
to have brady in our lives. you're the best brade.
